(SUR Programme 2027) at the University of Lausanne

The Faculty of Biology and Medicine at the University of Lausanne (UNIL, Switzerland) is pleased to announce the call for applications for the Undergraduate Research Programme in Biology and Medicine (SUR Programme 2027).

Every year, the SUR Programme hosts approximately 15 talented students from all around the world who are studying biology or medicine. Participants have the opportunity to pursue an independent lab-based research project within the university's state-of-the-art laboratories.

The programme includes:

  • Independent research project execution;
  • Weekly workshops on presentation skills and career guidance;
  • Social and cultural activities;
  • Preparation of a final written report and presentation of research results at a poster symposium at the end of the programme.

A scholarship is awarded to all selected participants.

Key Details and Eligibility Criteria:

  • Duration: July 5th to August 27th, 2027
  • Language: English
  • Target Audience: Undergraduate students enrolled in biology or medicine degree programmes. Eligible applicants must have completed two years of their bachelor’s degree and be enrolled in their third year at the time of the programme.
