We are pleased to announce the commencement of the application process for the bilateral academic exchange program at Adam Mickiewicz University (Poznań, Republic of Poland) for the 2026/2027 academic year, including the Winter Semester of 2026.

    General Information

    Adam Mickiewicz University (AMU) is one of Poland's leading higher education institutions, actively fostering international cooperation. This exchange program offers students the opportunity to study in an international academic environment, enhance professional competencies, and improve foreign language proficiency.

    Academic Calendar

• Full Academic Year: October 1, 2026 – July 4, 2027

• Winter Semester: October 1, 2026 – February 16, 2027

• Summer Semester: February 24, 2027 – July 4, 2027

    Application Deadlines

    University Nomination of Candidates: April 1 – June 30, 2026

    Student Application Submission:

- Early stage: April 1 – May 10, 2026

- Late stage: May 11 – July 15, 2026

    Candidate Requirements

    Applicants must submit the following documents:

• Academic transcript (Transcript of Records) in English;

• English language proficiency certificate (minimum B2 level);

• Copy of international passport;

• Standardized ID photo;

• Completed and signed application form.

Academic Features

• Instruction is primarily in English;

• More than 220 courses are available;

• Students may select courses from various faculties relative to their major;

• Recommended workload: 3 to 5 courses (maximum 8);

• The individual Learning Agreement must be coordinated with the home university’s coordinator.

Terms of Participation

Please note the following mandatory conditions:

• The study period (semester or full year) must be specified during nomination;

• Extension of the exchange period from one semester to the next is not permitted;

• All registration and official correspondence will be conducted exclusively via the email address provided during nomination.

Accommodation and Living Conditions

University dormitory housing may be provided (subject to limited availability). If dormitories are full, students must arrange private rental accommodation.

Estimated Living Costs:

• Dormitory: 650–1300 PLN per month;

• Private rental: from 1000 PLN per month.

Students will receive a student ID card, providing benefits such as discounts on public transport.

Additional Information

Support services for international students include the Welcome Centre, the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), and the Buddy Program (mentorship).
