Davlat Kurbonov is a doctor of law. Since 1997, he has worked in various positions at Samarkand State University. Since 2022 he has been the head of the department of special legal sciences. In 2008 he defended his dissertation on the theme "Problems of application of criminal liability in conditions of liberalization of criminal law", and in 2021 defended his doctoral thesis on the theme "Criminal-law and criminological aspects of actions against human freedom".
During his career he has compiled lectures on disciplines "Criminal Law", "Criminal Procedural Law", "Court and Law Enforcement", "Problems of the Theory of Evidence in Criminal Proceedings", "Enforcement Proceedings", "Legal Service", "Human Rights". To date, more than 51 scientific, scientific and methodical works have been published. Author of 2 textbooks and 1 textbook. 18 articles were published in VAK journals, 6 articles - in international journals, 15 articles - in national journals.

Mukumova Muslima Ziyodullaevna Muslima Mukumova, PhD in Law, Associate Professor. In 2005 she successfully defended her dissertation on the topic "Features of the assignment of punishment for a number of crimes" and in 2008 received the degree of assistant professor in the field 12.00.08 - "Criminal law and criminology; Criminal Executive Law". During her career she has authored more than 120 scientific and educational-methodical works. She is the author of 5 monographs, 1 brochure, 2 textbooks and about 10 manuals. She has also published scientific articles in 2 Scopus, Web of Science and other prestigious international journals. |

Esanov Azamat Esirgapovich Esanov Azamat, a lecturer at the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Law, has been working at Samarkand State University since 2025. In 2025, he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation in the specialties 12.00.08 – Criminal Law and Penal Enforcement Law, and 12.00.15 – Criminology (Legal Sciences) on the topic: “Liability for the Illegal Production or Circulation of Alcohol Products,” and obtained the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Legal Sciences. Esanov Azamat is the author of more than 25 scientific articles. More than 4 of his research papers have been published in journals indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, and other prestigious international scientific databases. |

Sadriddinova Latofat Husniddin qizi Assistant lecturer at the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines. She has been working at Samarkand State University since 2025. In 2025, she successfully defended her dissertation entitled “Prospects for Improving the Appellate Review of Court Decisions in Criminal Cases” in the specialty 12.00.09 — Criminal Procedure, Criminalistics, Operational-Search Law, and Forensic Expertise, and obtained the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Legal Sciences.
