Lutfillayev Makhmud Khasanovich

Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences. In 1989 he defended his PhD thesis.

  Participated in a total of 8 projects under the program of priority directions of the Scientific-Technical Center under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Under the direction of Mahmud Lutfillayev, about 60 multimedia electronic textbooks in biology, physics, computer science, the English language and more than 40 virtual laboratories were created. In addition, on the basis of computer simulation models of the subject "Zoology of invertebrates," developed by the scientist, 24 virtual laboratories were created, which are used in educational processes.

Mahmoud Lutfillayev is the author of 2 monographs published in Germany. 3 articles were published in foreign journals included in the Scopus database.

Doctor of Philosophy in Physics and Mathematics, Associate Professor. In 2015, he defended his PhD thesis on physical and mathematical sciences on "On conjugations of homeomorphisms of the circle with fracture and critical points". Since 2017, he has been working at the Department of Computer Science and Technologies at Samarkand State University.

Jabbarov Jamoliddin Sindorovich

 
Jamoliddin Jabbarov is a doctor of philosophy in technical sciences. He has been working at Samarkand State University since 2014.  In 2023 he successfully defended his PhD thesis on "Geometric modeling of medical images with complex fractal structure using digital processing methods". During his career he is the author of 18 articles in foreign scientific journals, about 60 articles in other scientific journals, 1 textbook and 3 manuals.

Sozzad Hossain


Professor with a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science and Engineering. He defended his PhD thesis on 'Classical and Quantum Search Algorithms for Quantum Schemes and the Optimisation of Quantum Oracles' at Portland State University, USA, in 2009. He has worked at the Department of Control Theory and Information Security of Samarkand State University since 2025.
He has authored three textbooks and over 100 articles and theses. He has successfully supervised more than 50 graduate theses and one doctoral dissertation under his supervision.
Over 50 of his articles have been published in Scopus-indexed journals.

IZHAR UDDIN

Professor Izhar Uddin is a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science and Engineering. In 2009, he successfully completed his PhD in Computer Engineering at Portland State University in the USA with a dissertation titled 'Optimisation of classical and quantum search algorithms and quantum oracles for quantum circuits'.

He is the author of eight textbooks and over 100 articles and abstracts. He has supervised more than 20 graduation projects and one doctoral dissertation.

During his scientific career, he has published articles indexed in ten Scopus databases.

Since 2023, Shahnoza Gulomovna has been working as a lecturer at the Department of Control Theory and Information Security. He conducts research in the field of digital technologies and artificial intelligence. More than 10 articles have been published in international and national journals.

Tojiyev Maruf Ruzikulovich

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor. He defended his PhD dissertation on the topic 'Identification of hazards based on field integrity violations and changes in light intensity in video images' in 2024. He has worked at Samarkand State University since 2025.

He is the author of around 40 scientific articles. He has published articles in two journals included in the Scopus database.

 

Sattarov Kuvondik Mavlonovich

Parmanov Bekruz Zakir oglu

He has been working as an assistant at the Department of Control Theory and Information Security since 2024.

He is conducting scientific research on the topic 'Development of special mathematical models and algorithms for the intellectual analysis of spectrophotometer data in medicine'. During his career, he has published one textbook, one methodological manual and scientific articles in three foreign and one republican journal.

About the Control Theory and Information Security Department

The Control Theory and Information Security Department was established in 2017. The department employs 1 PhD, professor, 2 PhD - associate professor, 1 PhD (DSc, mathematics), 1 senior lecturer and 3 teachers.

Currently, the department trains bachelors and masters in 15 disciplines, such as 60610100 - computer science and programming technology, 60610600 - software engineering, 60540100 - mathematical engineering, 60540100 - mathematics, 60540200 - applied mathematics, 51100700 - methods of teaching computer science, physics, chemistry, biology, geography.

In 2017-2022 professors-teachers of the department have prepared 5 textbooks.

The topics of the main research work of the department: computer and mathematical modeling of processes, theory and methods of training and education.

Professors and faculty members conduct research on doctoral dissertations within this major research topic.

In the 2017-2022 academic year, the faculty of the department published more than 100 articles in international scientific journals, 23 articles in national scientific journals, 150 articles at international conferences, 60 articles at national conferences, 15 articles at conferences of higher educational institutions.

 The department conducts research in the field of problems of optimal management methods (I. Isroilov, S. Ochilov, S. Otakulov, G. D. Sobirova), in the field of mathematical and computer modeling of dynamic systems (I. N. Bozorov, Akhatkulov S. A., Jumaev Z. Z., Rajabov T.), application of electronic teaching methods in education and upbringing (M. H. Lutfillaev, T. Ochilov, A. Omonov, F. U. Tugizboev, Sh. Kurbanova).

Professor and teaching staff of the department have established mutually beneficial cooperation with the Romanov Mathematical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Samarkand branch of TATU, the Panjakent Pedagogical Institute of the Republic of Tajikistan, higher educational institutions and research centers of Malaysia.
