Aziza Kurbanova, a student at the Faculty of Psychology and Social Relations at Samarkand State University, conducts research in the field of legal psychology. To date, she has published more than 5 articles in national and international scientific journals. Her scientific adviser - Voris Akhrorov, lecturer at the Department of General Psychology. In December 2021, Aziza took part in the Republican scientific and practical conference "The Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan - a legal guarantee of the development and welfare of society" in Tashkent with the article "Humanitarian and psychological essence of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and she won in the department of pedagogical and psychological features of teaching and was awarded a diploma of the mayor of Tashkent. Aziza's main area of research is legal psychology, which studies the psyche of victims and defendants who are accomplices in a crime.

“Psychological knowledge has always been necessary in the work of law enforcement,” said Aziza Kurbanova. Therefore, the study of the human personality is important not only in philosophy, psychology, pedagogy, but also in jurisprudence. The study and analysis of the basic psychological views of the individual in legal practice is difficult. In this regard, it is useful to study a person by various psychological methods, to determine his inner world. In my research, I studied the psychology of the victim by directly observing the victims of crime and trying to study their psychology using various psychological methods.

Studying the psychology of the victim means working with the psyche that has been directly affected by crime and violence. Victims of abuse and manipulation often experience passivity, pessimism, negative thinking, intense guilt, low self-esteem, and hopelessness about the future. Establishing a relationship of trust with the victim is an important process in investigating the nature of a crime committed by law enforcement officials and can take a long time. Therefore, a psychological approach to this issue gives effective results.

It is important to note that the psyche of the victim is filled with fear and dissatisfaction with life's difficulties. The sympathy of those around them also negatively affects the psychology of the victim. As a result, they develop insecurity about their ability to succeed in life and make a difference. Therefore, the people around the victim should serve him as a source of interest and strength in life.
