    Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor. In 2011, he defended his candidate's dissertation on “Electrophilic substitution and condensation reactions of 5,6-disubstituted-2,3-polymethylene-3,4-dihydrothiono[2,3-d]pyrimidin-4-ones”. In 2019, he received the President’s International Fellowship of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to conduct research on “Bioactive purines and their analogues”. In 2021, he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation on “Synthesis, modification, and biological activity of new fused pyrimidines”. His research work focuses on the design and synthesis of nitrogen-, sulfur-, and oxygen-containing pyrimidines, various bioactive heterocycles, and small natural molecules.

    Throughout his scientific career, Khurshed Bozorov has published papers in prestigious global scientific publications. To date, he has published nearly 30 articles in journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science databases. He is the author of 10 international patents and has published 15 papers in local scientific journals. He has also presented abstracts at over 70 international and national conferences and symposia.

    Fazliddin Tadjiyev — Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor. From 1983 to 2017, he worked as an assistant, professor, and head of the Department of Therapy at the Samarkand State Medical Institute. Since 2026, he has been carrying out pedagogical activities in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry at Samarkand State University.

    In 1982, upon completing his postgraduate studies, he successfully defended his Candidate of Medical Sciences dissertation on “Protein conjugates of anabolic steroids: characteristics and immunogenic properties” in Leningrad. His scientific research involved detecting anabolic steroids using radioimmunoassay for the anti-doping laboratory at the 1980 Moscow Olympic Games.

    In 1990, after completing his doctoral studies, he successfully defended his Doctor of Medical Sciences dissertation on “Steroid hormones and trace elements in the treatment of organ diseases (clinical and experimental study)” at the All-Union Research Institute of Pulmonology in Leningrad.

    Fazliddin Tadjiyev has published over 150 scientific papers in USSR journals (Immunology, Pathological Physiology, Tuberculosis Problems), Therapeutic Archive, and national scientific journals. He is also the author of 3 study guides, 1 invention, and 11 rationalization proposals. He has attended numerous international, USSR, and national congresses and conferences.
