Malinovsky Evgeny Andreevich Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor. Since 1961 he has been working in different positions at the Faculty of Philology of Samarkand State University. In 1995 he defended his PhD thesis. He is the author of more than 200 scientific articles, including 3 monographs and 7 textbooks. He has published such scientific works as "Remarks on the Use of Turkic Borrowings in the Russian Literature of Uzbekistan", "Some observations on the graphic signs of phraseology in the Russian lexicographic practice", "Some observations on phraseology in the new academic "Dictionary of Russian Literary Language" (in 20 volumes), "Remarks on old and new winged phrases in the Russian language". |

Hoschu Elmira Nebievna Senior Lecturer of the Interfaculty Department of Russian Language. She has been working at Samarkand State University since 1972. About the Interfaculty Department of Russian Language The Department of Russian Linguistics was created in 1939. In the beginning, the department was headed by Professor A. V. Sokolov. During the past period the Chair was headed by V. A. Krasnov (1944-1945), K. E. Gakkaev (1945-1947), S. D. Lipkin (1948-1956), Professor I. M. Bagryanskiy (1956-1964), L. I. Roizenson (1964-1977), Associate Professor A. G. Lomov (1977-1999), Associate Professor R. A. Riasnyanskaya, Associate Professor Kh. N. Abdullaev, E. A. Malinovskiy. Five regional scientific conferences were held in the department under the leadership of Professor Malinovsky. Members of the department regularly participate in various scientific conferences: International Congress of Slavs (2008 - E.A. Malinovsky), International Conference on Phraseology (Germany, Poland, Russia, 2004-2008, E.A. Malinovsky), IAPRNL (E.A. Malinovsky, A.B. Babakhujaev). Since 2016 the department has been headed by senior lecturer Kristina Dubrovskaya. Today the department cooperates with the leading universities of the world. 3 lecturers of the department entered the postgraduate course of Bashkir State University. |

In 2021, two departments - Russian linguistics and Russian language were merged into the Interfaculty Department of Russian Language. To date, the department has 29 professors and teachers, including 2 professors, doctor of philology - E.A. Malinovsky and Antonina Shcherbak, a specialist invited from the city of Tambov and 3 associate professors (Turakhodzhaeva R.K., Zikratov V.V. - specialist invited from Altai Krai, Usmanova S.Yu.), 10 senior lecturers. Professors and teachers of the department give lectures in different scientific directions, supervise master's dissertations and graduate qualification works, regularly work with talented students and publish their scientific articles in different national and international collections.
