Ozod Yusupov is a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor. Since 2013, he has been working in various positions at Samarkand State University. Since 2020 he has been the Head of the Department of Software Engineering at Samarkand State University. In 2020 he defended his PhD thesis on technical sciences on the topic "Algorithms of human biometric identification based on the image of the colored eye shell". His articles were published in 2 scientific journals included in the international databases Scopus, Web of Science, about 15 articles in national scientific journals. He is also author of 1 textbook and 3 manuals. The scientist mainly conducts research in different scientific directions, such as computer vision, image processing, pattern recognition and biometric technologies.

Turakulov Iskandar Nuruddinovich
Associate Professor at the Department of Software Engineering, Samarkand State University. In 1986, he successfully defended his candidate's thesis on "The influence of moving loads on plate plates" in the field of solid mechanics. Oblokulov Sardor Zainiddinovich Assistant of the Department of Software Engineering at Samarkand State University. He has been working at Samarkand State University since 2021. During his career, Sardor Oblokulov has created several projects on automation of robotics and technical processes and currently continues to work on these projects. The researcher is currently working on patenting these projects, as well as conducting scientific research on the IoT system. Karpenko Anatoly Pavlovich Since 1994, he has been working at the Department of Software Engineering of Samarkand State University. He has published more than 370 scientific articles in the fields of automatic control theory, mathematical modeling, optimization methods, parallel computing methods, and design automation. He is a member of the editorial board of the journal "Information Technologies" and the chairman of the Educational and Methodological Council for the "Informatics and Computer Engineering" program. The scientist defended his dissertation at Moscow State Technical University in 1980.

Borzenko Evgeny Ivanovich Since 2024, he has been working at the Department of Software Engineering at Samarkand State University. Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Applied Gas Dynamics and Combustion at Tomsk State University. He also works as a senior researcher at the Laboratory for the Manufacture of Medical Equipment, located at the Center for the Development of Science, Technology and Education in the Field of Defense and Ensuring State Security.

About the Department of Software Engineering The department conducts scientific and methodological work together with a number of universities such as NUUz (National University of Uzbekistan), TATU (Tashkent University of Information Technologies) and Scientific Innovation Center of ICT at TATU and the Ministry of Development of Information Technologies and Communications, Research Institute of Digital Technology Development and Artificial Intelligence. Currently, the department has one doctor of sciences, eight candidates of sciences, five assistants, two heads of department. The department has a master's degree program 70610101 - Informatics and Programming Technologies (by direction), 70610701 - Artificial Intelligence. Graduates conduct research under the guidance of leading professors Kobilov S., Turakulov I., Yusupov O., Uribboev J., Shodiev U., Akhatov A., Akhatkulov S. Members of the department maintain close ties with NUUz, FarSU, TashpSU, GulSU, BukhSU, KarSU, TerSU, Research Institute for the Development of Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence, Moscow State University. M. Lomonosov and other foreign experts. Currently, a foreign professor Christo Anans works at the department. The Department has "Fundamentals of Programming" and "Robotics" groups. Talented students of the department participate in various international and national competitions. There are winners of National Olympiads among the students of the department. By the present time there are 2 textbooks, 7 manuals, the text of more than 50 lectures, educational-methodical books, collections and instructions created by the lecturers of the chair. Also there have been published 1 monograph, more than 200 scientific articles and theses. At present time at the chair there is a scientific research work on the theme "Research of algorithms and program complexes of intellectual data analysis". |
