New methods of teaching foreign languages were discussed.
At the initiative of the rector of Samarkand State University, professor, member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Rustam Kholmurodov, new projects on teaching Russian to schoolchildren were discussed.
It was attended by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Samarkand State University Ahmadjon Soliev, Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual Enlightenment Zebiniso Rakhmonova, Head of the Department of Public Education of Samarkand region Zebiniso Shodieva and professors and school principals.
The discussion provided a detailed analysis of the current state of Russian language teaching in schools, textbooks, new methodological methods, modern projects to attract young people to language learning.
It was noted that the exchange of experience between school teachers, delays in the teaching of Russian and the lack of Russian language specialists in the teaching of certain subjects.
In the future, a proposal was made to use new methods of teaching Russian in schools in Jambay, Taylak, Akdarya and Samarkand districts. The parties set mutual tasks to work together.
