Sharof Rashidov Samarkand State University announces admission for the 2025/2026 academic year to the state grant (full-time education) allocated for young compatriots living abroad who have expressed a desire to study in the fields of Uzbek language and literature, history, culture, art, and craftsmanship, according to the Order No. F-36 dated July 19, 2024, regarding the state admission parameters.

   The following requirements are set for candidates wishing to participate in the competitions for state grants allocated for compatriots:

Based on identity documents, the candidate themselves, or their parents or grandparents, must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a foreign citizen or stateless person who, from an ethnic, linguistic, and cultural-historical perspective, identifies as Uzbek or Karakalpak;

  • Be a foreign citizen or stateless person who was born and previously resided in the territory of Uzbekistan but currently resides abroad permanently;

  • As a foreign citizen, must be registered as an applicant for one of the bachelor's degree programs approved by the State Commission and be recommended for admission based on the interview results;

  • Must be under the age of 30;

  • Must have a good command of the Uzbek language.
