About the Department of Intellectual Control of Engineering Devices The research activity of the department's academic staff covers priority directions such as creating and improving intelligent control systems for engineering devices, modeling and optimizing technological processes based on artificial intelligence technologies, and developing robotics and automated control systems. Special attention in research is also given to geographic information systems (GIS) and spatial data analysis, implementation of smart sensor systems and IoT technologies, cyber-physical systems, and the development of digital production based on the "Industry 4.0" concept. In addition, scientific research is conducted on developing intelligent data analysis and decision support systems, as well as applying modern information and communication technologies in engineering, manufacturing, and educational processes. Currently, 5 faculty members with Candidate of Sciences and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees work at the department. To further enhance the scientific potential of the department, 4 faculty members are conducting scientific research as independent researchers on their doctoral (PhD) dissertations. In order to develop scientific and practical cooperation in intellectual control of engineering devices, artificial intelligence, robotics, and information technologies, the department has established cooperation ties with Terobyte Techno Service (TexnoUz) company, the international educational project School 21, IT Park Uzbekistan residents, higher education and research institutions, and regional IT organizations. Within the framework of cooperation, joint projects focused on scientific research, innovative projects, student internships, and digitalization of engineering devices are being implemented.
