|  | Mohd Nazish Khan Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Remote Sensing and GIS, Professor at the Faculty of Geography and Ecology, and Director of the Transformation Office, Samarkand State University, Uzbekistan. He earned his Ph.D. from Aligarh Muslim University, India, in 2016. His research interests include remote sensing, GIS, morphotectonic analysis, watershed delineation, and geospatial applications for sustainable environmental management. His doctoral research focused on morphotectonic indices and active tectonics in the Goriganga River Basin of the Eastern Kumaon Himalaya. Before joining Samarkand State University in 2022, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Remote Sensing and GIS Applications at Aligarh Muslim University (2018–2021) and served as Co-Principal Investigator for a Government of India project on GIS and GPS mapping of Waqf properties. At Samarkand, Prof. Khan leads institutional transformation initiatives focused on innovation, sustainability, and digital integration. He has published several Scopus-indexed papers, book chapters, and presented at numerous international conferences. | 
| Mohammad Suhail PhD in Geography. Since 2023, he has been working at Samarkand State University. In 2016, he received his PhD degree with a dissertation on “Water Resource Management in Saudi Arabia.” Previously, he worked at Aligarh Muslim University in India. Dr. Suhail is a specialist in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing, and water resource management. He is the author of 3 textbooks, 2 monographs, and over 20 scientific articles. |  | Sergeyeva Aygul Maksatovna Candidate of Geographical Sciences, Professor. Since 2021, she has been working at the Department of Social and Economic Geography at Samarkand State University. In 2002, she earned her Candidate of Sciences degree in Geography for her dissertation on “Problems of forming and developing the population settlement system in the West Kazakhstan region (economic and geographical aspects).” She is the author of over 200 scientific works, including 4 monographs and 5 teaching manuals. 24 of her research works have been published in journals indexed in the Scopus database. |  | Bakaev Aleksandr Sergeyevich Candidate of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences. Since 2024, he has been serving as an Associate Professor at the Department of Geology and Hydrometeorology at Samarkand State University. In 2021, he earned his PhD degree with a dissertation on the topic: “Development of the ray-finned fish fauna of the Middle–Late Permian of European Russia.” He is also a Research Fellow at the Paleontological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences and an Associate Professor at Udmurt State University.
