PhD in Chemical Sciences. Since 2017, he has been working at the Department of Analytical Chemistry at Samarkand State University. Since 2021, he has served as the Head of the Department.
In 2020, Rizamat Begmatov successfully defended his PhD dissertation on the topic: “Template synthesis of gas-sensitive organo-inorganic materials for semiconductor sensors.”
His research interests include analytical chemistry, gas analysis, chemical sensors, and modern analytical methods. He has published more than 40 scientific works, nearly 10 journal articles, 1 methodological guide, and 1 educational manual.

Doctor of chemical sciences, professor. He has worked at the Department of Analytical Chemistry since 1972. In 2005, he successfully defended his doctoral thesis on "Development of thermocatalytic methods and devices for detection of toxic and explosive gases". His research interests include analytical chemistry, gas analysis, control of environmental objects, sol-gel synthesis of gas-sensitive materials for chemical sensors, and synthesis of flame retardants. To date, he has published over 500 scientific papers: 16 articles in Scopus and Web of Science. He is the author of 12 manuals, 2 textbooks, 2 textbooks and 6 monographs. Author of 5 scientific projects and 28 scientific inventions.

Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor. Works at the Department of Analytical Chemistry since 1991. In 1984 protected PhD thesis "Spectroscopic investigation of interaction of hydroxyl molecules with electron acceptors in solutions". He has been conducting research in the direction of studying the interaction of hydroxyl molecules with electron acceptors by spectroscopic methods. Abdullah Kuwwatov has published more than 40 scientific works. He is the author of 1 textbook, 5 manuals and 3 training aids. 1 article was published in Scopus and Web of Science databases.

Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Analytical Chemistry. Since 1974 he has been working at the Department of Analytical Chemistry at Samara State University. In 1986 defended his PhD thesis on "Catalytic synthesis of nitriles". He has conducted researches in the sphere of chromatographic methods of analysis, petrochemistry and petrochemical synthesis. By the present time he has published more than 140 scientific works. He is the author of 7 articles, 6 manuals, 5 textbooks and 2 monographs in Scopus and Web of Science magazines. Since 2019, he has been conducting scientific research in the field of ion-selective electrode development.

Khamrayeva Dilnavoz Abdurashid qizi

Assistant at the Department of Analytical Chemistry. Since 2019, she has been working at the Department of Analytical Chemistry at Samarkand State University. Dilnavoz Khamrayeva is conducting scientific research on the topic: “Development of ion-selective electrodes for detecting heavy metal ions.”
Her research interests include analytical chemistry, electrochemical analysis methods, and the development of ion-selective electrodes. To date, she has published more than 15 scientific papers. One article has been published in a journal indexed in Scopus and Web of Science, and around 20 other articles have been published in various other journals.

Department of Analytical Chemistry

 

The department was founded in 1933 on the initiative of Associate Professor Y.G. Titova. During the Great Patriotic War, the department was closed, and in 1967 it was restored on the initiative of Professor A.H. Ataullaev. Until today the department was headed by Associate Professor Nusrat Safarovich Zokirov, Associate Professor Vladimir Anatolievich Alekseevsky, Professor Timur Kurbanovich Hamrokulov, Professor O. Faizullaev, Associate Professor A. Kuvatov, Associate Professor E. Ruziev, Professor E. Abdurakhmanov. Since 2021 the chair has been headed by PhD R. Begmatov.

There are 10 professors-teachers working at the department. Out of them 1 doctor of sciences, professor, 4 candidates of sciences, associate professor, 1 candidate of sciences in Physics and Mathematics, associate professor, 2 senior lecturers (PhD), 2 assistants. To date, the scientific potential of the department is 80%.

The department has special laboratories "Methods of Electrochemical Analysis", "Methods of Spectroscopic Analysis", "Methods of Chromatographic Analysis" and "Methods of Gas Analysis". Professors and lecturers of the department carry out scientific researches on the theme "Creation of methods and means of control of ecological and technological objects". The department graduates highly qualified chemists-analysts for industrial and medical institutions, universities, academic lyceums, colleges and secondary schools in our country.

As a result of hard work of professors of department 6 textbooks, 22 manuals, more than 120 educational and methodical books and recommendations are prepared and published.

The professors and lecturers of the department carry out scientific researches on several state grants.

To date, the department has established mutually beneficial relations of cooperation with professors and teachers of the Institute of "Chemistry of Plant Substances" named after S. Yunusov, Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry, Institute of "Bioorganic Chemistry" named after O. S. Sodikov AS RUz, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, Eurasian National University.
