Samarkand State University was visited by the world's leading professor of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA) Mike Short. The guest was received by SamSU Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Professor Akmal Akhatov.

    The main purpose of the visit is to strengthen international cooperation and implement joint projects.

    During the conversation, issues of establishing the exchange of faculty and students, the implementation of joint master's programs, and the joint implementation of grant projects were considered. It was also decided that Professor Mike Short would be the US Ambassador to Samarkand State University and would lecture students.
