Especially for the Information Service of Samarkand State University
Attention new rubric: Heart and pencil
Famous artist, famous poet, editor-in-chief of the newspapers "Literature and Art of Uzbekistan", such as "Green vegetation", "Rose", "You will come tomorrow", "Late morning", "Named days", "Level". Book author Salim Ashur is a regular guest of the "Heart and Pen" project.
Our interlocutor shared sincere words about poetry and divine talent.
- Are there any innovations in your work today? Which of your works do you intend to present to lovers of poetry?
- Now my book "Mangu el" is being prepared for publication. During my school years, I wrote a collection of poems called "Diidor Darsi" in memory of my school years, classmates and teachers. One of these series will be published in the 5th issue of Sharq Yulduz magazine. I also translate from the Latvian poet Ojars Vatsietis. It is planned that they will be published in print.
-What is a poem?
Poetry is a poet's way of communicating with existence, with God. His form, method and style are endless. You just have to find them, open them. Poetry is a product of love cooked in the hearth.
"Do you think inspiration is divine, poetry?"
- There is divinity both in inspiration and in poetry. When writing a poem, the poet leads the poet, not the poem. The poet becomes only an intermediary between two forces - God and poetry. The poet cognizes the world through suffering. Here is the poem I want to read:
The poet recalls the poem:
orphanhood and poor life,
pain and suffering
dreams and aspirations
heart,
love,
Memory
remembers
so don't get me wrong
does not lose his word
poet
Childhood says
youth.
Faith says
shouts Kurash.
Arrows fired at poets
swords that cut poets,
hanging poets,
before the history
before conscience
stutters
The poet reads poetry.
Do not misunderstand me.
Doesn't lose his word.
Books read by the poet
book topics,
the sun that warms the poet's heart,
wine that warms the poet's blood,
life is doomed in the cage of life,
life is doomed in the cage of life,
cries of arrows, swords and sticks,
reads poetry.
The homeland against which the poet laid his life,
people who sacrificed a poet,
screams - reads a poem:
Voznesensky,
Yevtushenko,
Bella Akhmadulina,
Olkhas Suleiman,
Osman Azim is...
Deception, betrayal, betrayal,
evil and hypocrisy
does not fit into the language of poetry.
Nightingales in the poet's heart,
streams and streams,
the months have passed poet,
it rumbles and rumbles like a poem.
Jumping lambs, weddings,
sunken villages,
castles, palaces, countries
it flows from his throat like a poem.
In love and love
reads poetry,
birds sing -
echoes of ancient words.
fate and memory
He never fails in word or deed.
rivers and forests,
seas and oceans,
sky and stars
the poem moves
is being filled.
Everything becomes poetry.
The poet does not read poetry...
The poet reads a poem...
The poet is the song of life, which should sound both when he writes poetry and when he does not.
- What made Salim Ashura a poet?
- Life, childhood, longing and love. My childhood was spent in harmony with nature. We grew up in the countryside. For people like me, the homeland is the life of the village, the people are the parents. We want to be among the best people in the world. That's why we read books. Sometimes we write poetry. There were times when we didn't sleep all night. I think that if a person loves life in happy and unhappy moments, if he experiences the joys and sorrows of life in his heart, if he has sadness in his heart, he will become a poet, even if he does not write poetry.
What was the theme of your first poem?
-My first poem published in print: I was in the 7th grade and the Bird Song exercise was published in the local newspaper. In high school, I published a number of my poems, short stories, and short stories in this paper. These were very simple exercises. The pen is sharpened in exercises.
If I may, I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to the then newspaper of our region and its staff.
- They say that every artist has his own pen. What is a sharpener that sharpens your pen?
- Days of human experience, emotions and creativity are exhausting. In his free time, he cannot engage in "after work ..." either poetry or literature in general. Literature and creativity require great dedication. If not, here is a new product just for you! I think the pen is sharp.
- In many of your poems you call Yor "you". What is causing this?
- Probably, for rhyme... I think the main thing is not "you" or "you", but the sincerity of the message.
-Tell us about the history of your poem "Sound of the Heart", in which there are many hearts?
-Once I imagined: if a person has a good friend and he goes to a distant country, what kind of poem can be written about him? And this poem was written.
- Has the poet Salim Ashur found his place in life and art?
- He is not looking for a place in life, in art. He just lives...
- You shake your pen in prose. What is the reason for this? Is it difficult for a poet to write what he wants to say?
- Poetry is not narrow. Examples include epics and poems. Only a few themes run through the prose itself. Just keep it intact.
- As a poet, which of the Uzbek poets do you follow?
-I look at literature. Of course, full coverage is not possible. I am reading new books. Sometimes I reread old books. I think we should re-read our classic literature over and over again. I enjoy reading the good poems of our peers, teachers, brothers. World literature is an ocean. I need to dive too.
- Are you satisfied with the attitude of modern people to literature?
-People get everything they need, they don't get more...
- How do you see the future of literature and poetry? So which of today's young poets do you see?
- Future literature will get rid of artificiality and falsehood, materialism and lies. It is a consequence of an interconnected world.” Literature teaches life.
- Has Salim Ashur found his place in life and literature today?
- He is looking for his place in life and in art. It is difficult to say whether he will find it or not.
"What are you afraid of in life?"
- I'm afraid of hunger, loneliness, failures...
“Because of hunger? Do you think all three things will pass you by?
- It didn't work, so I'm afraid. I think everyone faces these three situations in life. I'm afraid of it, literally and figuratively. Our people have a saying: "open your eyes." I'm afraid of the hungry, hungry, hungry. It's crowded, but I'm afraid to be alone. And good luck... The great poet Abdulla Aripov has such wise lines:
Good luck in the world
Any superstitions are invalid here...
Don't miss your luck. If the Creator is not merciful, his efforts will be in vain or ineffective.
- If you had to describe your past in words, what genre would it be?
- In my body, childhood, youth is a fairy tale; youth - free, drama; the next period is a novel, an epic ...
- How's the end?
-The poem is more interesting...
- Each region of the country has its own literary environment. What can you say about the literary environment of Samarkand?
-Samarkand is the ancient capital of our country, a world-famous city with a great history. Samarkand State University is one of the first universities in the country. He laid a solid foundation for the development of the scientific and creative sphere of Uzbekistan. In the twenties and thirties of the last century, the most talented representatives of science and education, literature and art studied in this memorial. Thanks to the unique works of such masters as Botir Valikhodzhaev, Nuriddin Shukurov, Muslihiddin Mukhiddinov, Nusrat Rakhmat, Khosiyat Bobomurodova, Farmon Toshev, the literary environment of Samarkand today remains one of the leading literary schools in the country. Many poets and writers, such as Omon Matjon, Nodir Dzhonuzak, Arif Tokhtash, Vahid Lukman, who created the image of our literature yesterday and today, have become an excellent source of literature from the literary environment of Samarkand.
