December 6-12, the dean of Pedagogics Faculty Shavkat Makhmatmurodov have led the group of academic staff of Pedagogics and Psychology departments of Samarkand State University in visit to The University of Delhiand JawaharlalNehruUniversityin India, where academic cooperation protocols were signed. There have beenagreed to exchange academic staff, researchers and students with the purpose of sharing experience, to organize conferences, symposia and scientific lections, to work out mutually beneficial projects, to exchange information, academic materials and publications in fields of mutual interest.

  The University of Delhi has since become India's largest institution of higher education and among the largest in the world. The university currently consists of 16 faculties and 86 departments distributed across its North and South campuses. It has 77 affiliated colleges and 5 other institutes with an enrollment of over 132,000 regular students and 261,000 non-formal students.

  JawaharlalNehruUniversityis governmental research organization in Delhi and one of the leading universities in the world. More than 5500 students study in the university with 550 academic staff. It has also 10 affiliated scientific schools.

  As the result of agreements signed we will hope to set further productive cooperation and friendly international relations.
