Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor. He has been working at the Department of State and Legal Disciplines of Samarkand State University since 1997.
In 2005, he defended his Candidate of Legal Sciences dissertation on the topic “Sources of Law of the Turkestan Region (1865–1917)”.

Doctor of Law, Professor. Since 1976 he has been working at the Faculty of Law, Samarkand State University. In 1998 he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic "The main historical sources of Uzbek law (VIII-XIX centuries)". Professor Ziyodulla Mukimov for his more than fifty years of scientific and pedagogical activity has educated many students. He is the author of more than 15 monographs, 8 manuals, 5 textbooks and more than 300 articles. |

About the Department of State Legal Sciences The Department of State Legal Sciences was created in 2022. Before that the department worked under the name "Jurisprudence and legal education". To date, the department conducts research on "Ensuring the priority of national interests in the development of legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan". By this moment teachers of department have created more than 30 textbooks, manuals, texts of lectures, educational and methodical manuals, collections and instructions.
