Scientists of Navoi studies from Turkey visited Samarkand State University...
On the occasion of the 583rd anniversary of the birth of Alisher Navoi, the director of the Alisher Navoi Research Center of the Baskent University of Turkey, Professor Abdurrahmon Guzel visited Samarkand. The scientist was accompanied by Turkish professors Hamie Duran and Nihal Yavuz.
During the visit, they got acquainted with the activities of the Research Institute of Turkology at Samarkand State University and discussed issues of cooperation. The guest of honor visited the Faculty of Philology and introduced students to the works of Hazrat Alisher Navoi.
Abdurrahmon Guzel met with the head of the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature of Samara State University, Professor Ibodulla Mirzaev and discussed issues of establishing cooperation in the field of science. The international magazine “Alisher Navoi” under the leadership of editor-in-chief Ibodulla Mirzaev was also discussed.
