Nafisakhon Rakhmonova, a student at the Institute of Engineering Physics of Samarkand State University, was accepted into the START (Student Advanced Research Training) program of the Joint Nuclear Research Institute (BYATI, Dubna, Russia). START is an international program for students studying science, engineering and information technology from around the world.

      Participation in the program involves working on a promising research project under the guidance of a BYATI expert.

      Selected students will undergo an internship in the city of Dubna during the specified period of time. As part of this program, Nafisakhon Rakhmonova will also take part in a seminar training in February-March.

      For information, the student is currently conducting research on the topic “Modeling the use of isotope sources in the study of the phenomenon of complete external return of gamma rays” using the GEANT4 program, created at the Swiss center SYeRN under the guidance of SamSU Associate Professor Akmal Safarov.
