Akmal Akhatov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at Samarkand State University, visited the ENSIP School of Engineering and the Faculty of Natural Sciences with the aim of further expanding the participation of Central Asian universities within the framework of the Erasmus+ program. Akmal Akhatov was accompanied by representatives of the K171 project, Jamol Mattiev, a representative of USU, Nursultan Doszhan and Madina Mansurova, representatives of the Al-Farabi Kazakhstan National University.

      At a meeting with official leaders, based on the experience of the University of Poitiers, in universities in Central Asia, improving educational processes, ensuring the integration of science and production, establishing scientific internships in enterprises and organizations, increasing the efficiency of scientific research results, academic exchange of researchers, and issues of organization were discussed joint doctoral studies and agreements were reached.

      Candidates have been approved to be sent to the University of Poitiers for a scientific internship in the 2nd semester of the 2023-2024 academic year.

      During the visit, the educational processes of the university were reviewed. Equipment for electrical engineering, computer science and systems automation, organic chemistry and synthesis laboratories and the research carried out in them were introduced.
