Samarkand State University will cooperate with the Italian University of Salento
A delegation led by the rector of the Italian University of Salento, Fabio Pollise, visited Samarkand State University. The rector of Samarkand State University, scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Rustam Khalmuradov met with the guest of honor.
During the dialogue, issues of cooperation between the parties were discussed. It was decided to conduct research on food safety and regional problems and create new laboratories. An exchange of views took place on the opening of centers that will seek solutions to climate, pasture and energy problems.
During the meeting, the importance of creating joint educational programs, exchanging professors and teachers, and creating summer schools was emphasized.
As a result of the discussion, SamSU scientists began conducting research on current topics together with professors and teachers of the University of Salento.
