- We were at Samarkand State University for two days. Yesterday we discussed cooperation issues,” says Jun Ikeda, Vice President of the University of Tsukuba. - Having studied the activities of the Institute of Engineering Physics and Biochemistry of SamSU, we were convinced that we are on the right path. An excellent scientific environment has been formed here. There are all sorts of opportunities for exploration and discovery. I was pleased with the availability of modern Japanese-made technical equipment in the scientific laboratories. Since the Zoological Museum has many unique exhibits, I discovered a new world of animals. The visit of Nobel laureate Aziz Sanjar to SamSU is a very big event. The fact that the laboratory was created in his name made a great impression on us. I was attracted by the fact that images of national customs and values, historical monuments were placed in the buildings of the Institute. Especially the presence of parental figures and pictures of village life reminded me of my childhood.
