     Bakhtiyor Khuzhayorov, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor. Since 1992 he has been working at Samarkand State University. Since 2017, he has been the head of the Department of Mathematical Modeling.

      In 1981, Bakhtiyor Khodjayorov defended his Ph.D., and in 1992, his doctoral dissertation at Tyumen State University. In 1994 he received the academic title of professor.

      The scientist is the author of more than 400 scientific papers, including 8 monographs and one textbook. He has published over 50 articles in Scopus, Web of Science and other prestigious international journals. Received grants from NATO and the French Foreign Ministry. In 2010 he was awarded the Order of Mekhnat Shukhrati.

Viswanathan Kadakkal Kannan

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in mathematics. During his career, he has worked as a professor at INHA South Korea University, Seoul National University, Malaysian University of Technology, Kuwait College of Science and Technology. Since 2022, he has been working as a professor at the Department of Mathematical Modeling at Samarkand State University.

In 1998 he defended his Ph.D. thesis on the topic "Investigation of the functions of the spline of free oscillations of plates and shells."

Viswanathan Kadakkal Kannan has published 2 monographs and more than 120 scientific articles. 78 scientific articles were published in journals recognized in the Scopus database, and 46 in journals recognized in the Web of Science database.

Amridinov Sayfidin Amridinovich

 

Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor. Since 1965 he has been working at Samarkand State University. Since 2015, he has been working as an assistant professor at the Department of Mathematical Modeling.

In 1977, Saifiddin Amridinov successfully defended his PhD thesis. During his career, he wrote 5 textbooks and published more than 100 scientific articles.

 

 

 

 

Mamatov Shakhobiddin Saifiddinovich

 

Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor. Since 1993 he has been working at Samarkand State University. From 2015 to the present, he has been working as an assistant professor at the Department of Mathematical Modeling.

In 1987, he defended his Ph.D. thesis in physics and mathematics at Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov on the topic “On the dependence of transfer matrices of Gibbs fields”.

Shakhobiddin Mamatov published 2 textbooks, more than 70 scientific articles. Published 5 scientific articles in scientific journals included in the Scopus database.

In 2018, he defended his Ph.D. thesis on the topic “Modeling of seepage and mass transfer processes based on multi-stage kinetics of sedimentation in porous media”.
Bekzojon Fayziev has published 11 articles in scientific journals indexed in the Scopus and Web of Science databases during his scientific career. He is the author of 2 manuals, has copyright certificates for 5 software products. He has participated in more than 20 international and local conferences and symposiums with abstracts. Brief information about the history of the Department of Mathematical Modeling

The department was founded in 1974 under the name "Mathematical Logic and Programming". The department was headed by: 1974-1975 Associate Professor Toraev Kh.T., 1975-1977 Associate Professor Fozilov F., 1977-1981 Associate Professor Toraev Kh.T., 1981-1984 Rustamov D.R., 1985-1992 Professor I .AND. Zhumanov, 1993-1994 Assoc. H.G. Ganiev, 1994-1999 prof. T.S. Safarov, and from 1999 to 2012. - Professor H.T. Turaev. From 2012 to 2015, the head of the department was Associate Professor Urunbaev E. Since the beginning of the 2015-2016 academic year, the Departments of Mathematical Modeling and Calculation Methods were merged into the Department of Applied Mathematics. After the reorganization of the faculty "Applied Mathematics and Informatics" in January 2017, the department "Applied Mathematics" was renamed "Mathematical Modeling" and Professor B. Khuzhayorov was appointed head of the department.

In the 1980-1990s, associate professors Akhmedzhanov F.K., Sufiyanova A.S., Ganiev S.G., Rustamov D.R., Porsaev G.M., Abdukarimov R.T. worked at the department. and assistants Khurramov A., Khakimov K.A., Uzokov A.Yu., Hotamov B. They published 1 monograph, more than 20 teaching aids. During this period, 1 of the professors-teachers of the department received the degree of Doctor of Science and 9 of them received the degree of Candidate of Science.

Research work carried out within the framework of state scientific and technical programs:

For several years, fundamental and practical projects have been carried out at the department under the guidance of Professor B. Khuzhayorov within the framework of state scientific and technical programs.

In 2015-2017, practical projects of the A-13-10 type “Creating a calculation methodology and effective technologies for acid treatment of oil and gas reservoirs with fractured-porous carbonate reservoirs” were carried out. In 2017 - 2022 OT-F4-64 - "Development and numerical study of hydrodynamic models of leakage and mass transfer of liquid in inhomogeneous porous media." In 2012 - 2016 FA-F078 - "Hydrodynamic issues of flow and seepage of inhomogeneous fluids in porous media"

Currently, the project FZ-2020092877 - "Mathematical models of migration of anomalous substances and seepage of fluids in inhomogeneous porous media" is being implemented under the scientific supervision of prof. B. Khuzhayorov.

Training of scientific and pedagogical personnel

At the department 05.01.07 - “Mathematical modeling. Complex of Numerical Methods and Programs" and 01.02.05 - training of scientific and pedagogical staff in the basic doctoral studies, doctoral studies and targeted basic doctoral studies in the specialties "Mechanics of fluid and gas" is underway. Since 2015, 4 professors, doctoral students and an independent researcher of the department have successfully defended Doctor of Science (DSc) dissertations and more than 10 of them Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) dissertations.

Within the framework of cooperation, the faculty of the department cooperates with such universities as NUUz, BukhSU, TerSU, Navoi State Pedagogical Institute and Jizzakh State Pedagogical University, research institutes of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, Ural Federal University (Russia), Kazakh National University named after Al -Farabi, University of California (USA), University of Le Havre (France), National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan Established close ties with scientists-specialists of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, University of Adelaide (Australia), North Caucasus Federal University (Russia).
