In accordance with the decision of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev dated April 30, 2022, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation was appointed responsible for the types of historical, educational, cultural, entertainment, extreme, ecological, ethnic and beach tourism for faculty and students under the program "Travel around Uzbekistan!".

     The staff of Samarkand State University organized a trip to the monumental architecture of the Oksaroy complex in Shakhrisabz in order to meaningfully hold the Eid al-Adha holiday for the teaching staff and make a worthy contribution to the development of domestic tourism.

      During the visit, professors and teachers received detailed information about the Oksaroy complex, the residence of Amir Temur, and its history.

     - Since 2018 I have been working at Samarkand State University. In connection with the Eid al-Adha holiday, a 5-day vacation has been announced, - says Professor Ravinder Gargesh, Head of the Department of English at SamSU. - At the weekend, I planned to make a pilgrimage, visit ancient monuments to learn more about the history and culture of Uzbekistan. The trip to Shakhrisabz was organized on the initiative of the leadership of SamSU. I heard about the residence of Amir Temur many times, read in books.
