The event is attended by the rector of Samarkand State University, scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Rustam Khalmuradov.

      At the beginning of his speech, the head of state touched upon the results of the referendum on the Constitution.

      “As you know, on April 30 of this year, a truly grandiose historical event took place in the life of our country. For the first time, we adopted our updated Constitution on the basis of a popular referendum.

      The vast majority of our citizens who took part in the referendum proudly voted "This is my Constitution."

      The referendum showed in practice how the political consciousness, legal culture and worldview of our people have increased in recent years.

      Through these historic elections, our people looked with great confidence at the reforms that we launched six years ago and once again showed their full support," the head of state said.

      It was noted that on the basis of this decision of our country, a solid foundation has been created for the stable development of our statehood and economy in the future.
